Here are answers to FAQs as we are getting an influx of questions:
*Yes - we WILL be getting COVID and Flu Vaccines from VaxCare to give out in office, AFTER OCTOBER 1st.
*We do not have these vaccines in stock, yet.
*Yes - you can get these vaccines at our office for kids and adults
*What is the best way to get in line? Pre-book your vaccine appointment in the portal.
*How do you book an appointment for a vaccine? In the Portal > Click on My Appointments > Lakeside Location > Medical Assistant. Then select your preferred time.
*PRO TIP: When scheduling add: What is the reason for this visit? You Type in: Flu/COVID VACCINE.
That way we know what you are coming in for and we can save you one!
*No - we are not sure if your insurance will cover it. That is a moving target. We will do our best to follow VaxCare estimates of insurance coverage at the time of your vaccine. If you try to use insurance and it is denied, we will bill you later after we are billed. We always have cost transparent self pay rates.
We expect the Flu Vaccine to be $41-$85 (for high dose) and COVID to be $80-$128.
*No we will not send a prescription for the vaccines to the pharmacy.
*No we will not carry the RSV Vaccine this year. Please get this vaccine at the pharmacy.
